General Information

Double J Stables is located in Odenville, AL. All fencing is wood, electric or smooth wire. No barbed wire. Owner Jo Ann Miller lives on the premises. Double J Stables has a secruity system in palce, as well. Double J Stables has a sixty foot round pen and a lighted outdoor riding ring available on the premises. Also available is a wash stall with hot and cold water, cross ties for grooming, as well as rest rooms and phones available in the barn. Horses ara a priority at Double J Stables. We feed the horses Purina feed along with hay as needed.

Accommodations

Outside Boarding
Outside boarding is $150.00 per month. This includes pasture and run in shed, fed grain once a day, and hay as needed. No extra hay bill.

Inside Boarding
Inside boarding is $250.00 per month. This includes a 12' x 12' stall, turn out for 2 hours a day, fed grain twice a day, and hay fed once a day. No exra hay bill.

Illness/Medication

Medications will be given if you wish. These medications must be provided by the horse's owner. In the unlikely case of illness or injury while your horse in in the care of Double J Stables, DJS will attempt to contact your personal vetinarian, but reserve the right to get the fastest qualified vetinarian available in an emergency.

Birthday Parties Group Parties

Doulbe J Stables is available for birthday parties, as well as for church groups, scout groups, and other group gatherings. For $200.00, you get a 2 hour party, that includes a cake, refreshments, and a pony ride. Tours are availale by appointment.

Riding Lessons

Double J Stables offers riding lessons for beginners. Adults are our specialty. Lessons are $20.00 per half hour, with emphasis on horse care.
