About Double J Stables



Double J Stables is a result of a dream of a lifetime. I have always loved horses from childhood and had the good fortune to marry my husband, John Miller, who also loved horses. We had hoped to spend the rest of our life together raising and riding Rocky Mountain horses thoughout the Southeast. However, John died just 22 months and 2 days after we were married. I have continued that dream, now with the help of my daughter, Elizabeth Taylor, who has now joined the day to day operations of the Stables.

We try to provide a horse that will be your friend for life. Our horses are bred primarily for the trail, stressing temperament, gait, and conformation. Double J also provides boarding with a family atmosphere,

As an added interest we give birthday parties that provide a pony ride, cake and the rest. All you have to do is show up with the birthday child and the guests. We provide all clean up and the birthday child gets a small gift as well.
John loved children and I think he would have especially enjoyed this part of the activities.
